where to find others to get a good focus

Are there any common places (esp on lake superior) where spellweavers get together often to make a high level focus?

Im a fairly new player, about 2 months in now, and Im trying spellweaving for fun. Ive done the quest, farmed about 2/3 of the spells, but can't ever seem to find anyone to make a focus with.

Cant speak for your shard, but common bunch spots seem constant across most....West Brit Bank, Lady M area and Luna Bank. I just spam there until I get 2-3 people. joining a guild can help as well. Before we broke up our alliance there was always 4-5 other weavers in the mass of guilds.

That said, it is the single most frustrating thing about the skill for me.
