Where is "Exodus" the sphinx?

I have been running south around the moongate of Compassion and cannot find this guy! I need him for a quest, and they say that he is somewhere southwest of the desert.

I can't find the desert that is shown in the screenshot I saw. I need this for the elf quest. Did I just not go down far enough? I thought I did, but I always come to a grassy area and not desert.

I did actually find desert areas but none of them had the "Exodus" quest creature. Any help?

I've been looking at that the whole time, but I can't find the place where that screenshot is from... If I go south I just find more green areas. And the only desert place I found was by Exodus Dungeon and southeast of the Compassion shrine which was kind of a maze.

Any directions?

I think you are looking in Ilshenar when you should be at the Compassion Shrine in Trammel/Felucca. From the shrine - run south through the desert to the edge of the mountains - then head west and you'll run into him.

Thank you! Wow, I was looking for 30 minutes. I guess there's no moongate directly to this shrine. I'll run there!

Just FYI, Ilshenar came after Tram/Fel, it's moongate locations are all also names of shrines that exist all over the Tram/Fel facets (in some cases on islands). For example, Justice shrine is by a very pretty waterfall quite a bit east of the Yew moongate, and Spirituality shrine is a great spot to put a large tower (very pretty with lots of sparklies). If you get a mind to go exploring one day you can venture out and visit all the shrines - some are on islands or are hard to get to, but they're all interesting in their own way.
