where do you stand...

I wanted to ask the people of Siege where they stand regarding the PVP scene.

One can only do so many spawns and monster bashing and my patience is about shot! We are already seeing our numbers drop, people still log in, see no pvp and log off. The problem is they are logging in less and less.

My reason for this post is to get a feel for exactly what people are thinking...

Anyone from a guild mentioned please respond and thank you!

TNT, we are still very active but getting antsy.

JSV, are you comming back, ever?

SP, thxs for the fights, can we expect more?

Sprago, when will your new guild be up and running?

POOR, do you really have 20++ people here traing up char and if that is true when you will you be ready?

MD/NBK, I assue you people will join with Sprago, if not are you going to play a bit?

Keemper/Frymosa are you going to grow or stay just the two of you?

I would love to see a response from all of the above mentioned guilds, It is my hope that we are almost through this slow time and Siege is ready to speed back up!

I am in no way shape or form the voice for SP, but I myself am having a good time with my SP boys PvPing and playing UO,

I feel that KoC/420/SP has always been at the forfront of the PvP action on siege, and we have tried numerous times to explain/beg/plead to the shard that the mindset must change in order for anything to move forward,

The Game is what it is ok! Faction gear is here, deal with it, everyone has the right to use it...yada yada...

But when your to afraid to die/loose yer suit/take a shot at your precious Ego, then PvP is going to die, because you will run a (Scared Template) which ultimatly bores the living **** out of the real fighters.

Bottom Line.....This shard was built for difficulty and FIGHTING!!!!!

You have no fighting= YOU HAVE NO SHARD


My two cents is this, if your a guild and have members on, encourage them to play PvP templates and if you have no one to fight, hang out in Yew Or Luna and fight each other like OtF did, Like 420 Did, like SP did, and people will see that theres action around and want to join in and fight, and maybe post that your there, it will be a slow process, but theres a lot to be said for seeing action, and that means shown templates.....lol

This will prolly fall on deaf ears as usual, but Ill keep swinging for the cause...

Siege will be fine, im in between jobs right now so im not playing any uo atm, but it looks like i have another job lined up, so il be back soon. When I return i still plan on playing both siege and atlantic, and I will do whatever is in my power to help siege.
I saw recent that TnT was looking for another game to play~? Just to warn you, atm theres nothing out there in the MMO department that can compare to UO except DF, and DF isn't the best Give siege a chance to rebuild, back when i use to play Counterstrike, me and all my friends played on this server that was busy 24 hours a day. But after awhile the server started getting slow, and it was almost shut down. Just before it got shut down some of the old players started showing up again, and before we knew it, the server was full all the time again, and from what I hear it still is today. So my point is this, over 200,000 people still play Ultima Online, if we try hard enough, we can get enough people on siege to make it fun again, so don't give up yet


P.S its been a few days, but last time i was on atlantic not one person from the SP crowd was playing a stealth archer, and secondly if anyone is house hiding, its usuallly due to only 1 or 2 people not being in stat and the rest are. And when im alone against 10 people with 5 buddies in stat, im waiting for them to help before i go rushing into a loss of punkte points

You have no clue what were running on ATL, everyone I know is a parry mage with some variations, and I know some who are making archers, but typical response from trypical people...

Have fun all you trying to find each other out there in the field....hows that PvP working out for you?????

Ive played mage heavy the last 7 years. I consider myself top 5 mages on siege. Top 50 on Atl. Top 25 on Gl. I may not be the best field mage vs dexxers, but bring it mage vs mage if your not ready your ass is dead...

but coming from a stealth archer that really hurt my feelings

My own crew will probably give me some grief but I have put together a nifty stealth/parry mage template on ATL. It is solely a response to the glut of dismount +mare action I have encountered. A crapola dueling template but it should make for a hell of a field template.

IMO dismount is as deterimental to the game as smokebombs and stealth. One is a disease, the other is a cure that is as bad as the disease.

Much as I hate to I shall adapt!

Monday-Friday @ 4-8 PM Eastern, Saturday-Sunday (Any Given Time), assuming I have nothing going on.

Let me know when the shard is able to accommodate an East Coaster(s) on an East Coast server.

Until then, enjoy having prime time fights (assuming there are many left?) @ 10+ PM Eastern.

yea it can be crazy, if theres like 10 com, and 4 of them are always dread dismounters, steping out alone is death in 2 seconds, and with my luck its always the newb who gets the final shot off and i lose 50,000+ punkte points not that i care, but its just a waste.

But on atlantic, i will do 1v4 all the time, where as on siege i can't afford to do that often

We never got any complaints when we ran mages, however i got them Daily when i ran detect.

But

Have been training for about two weeks, so far im in ROT on all skill cept scribe[cant afford regs] and close to GM magery.

BUT and its a big BUT It will take another probably month, maybe 2 to train enough to be able to play.

You cant compete without at least GM wrestle, eval, mage. After that i will need to get scrolls to take them to 120, so probs be spawning a large amount. THen have to take those skills up...which could take another month.

So, after training for 2weeks i will still need another 2months to be able to even contemplate PvP.

Lets see if anyone is still around.
