Where do you hunt?

Let's assuming you have every pet combination available to you, due to a game glitch you lost 95% of the gold/items you own in the game.

You set out to start rebuilding your fortune, where do you hunt?

Succubi?
Balrons?
Solo certain peerless?
Farm abyss mats?
Farm rare color Cu's to sell?
Greater mongbats?

Last time I hunted with a tamer Balrons and Ice Fiends were the top of the high end targets. This was pre-peerless/artifacts/abyss/paragons..etc. Obviously a lot has changed since then. :)

For gold I tend to work cu sidhe with my provo/disco tamer - killing/taming pups until something good spawns. That gets me taming and bard skill gains, gold and oodles of free bandages.

I alternate that with whatever I fancy building my karma up on. Usually I integrate the karma farming with training a pet up, so it's whatever suits my pet really. Or I might work the spawn of a particular critter looking for a new keeper pet to stable.

Swoops in the twisted give decent loot and a decent amount. I like to go there and kill them and take all of the loot and unravel it to sell the imbuing mats. Decent gold on the swoops too. While I am there I kill random cu's and keep an eye out for the colored ones. if I see a nice one I stable my pet and tame the cu to sell. It won't make you an instant multi-millionaire but will help raise your finances and on the off chance you find that rare blaze. I just saw that someone tamed a blaxe cu yesterday and in the east coast trade forums had a bid of 500 mil for it.

What is your template that has room for prov and disco? Do you leave out vet or just have low vet?

I'll cheat and copy/paste from the other thread ;)

The base "trained" template I run with is:

110 taming
110 lore
100 vet
110 music
120 disco
90 provo
80 magery

I have items to boost taming skill if I want to tame a higher end pet, but it's capped at 110 when I'm hunting.

Bard skills - I wear song woven mantle arms to get 120 music, the disco skill at 120 just saves me having to swap any jewels around if I want to disco then provo the same critters. Provo I run at 90 but carry +30 in items if I'm working with harder spawn.

Magery I have a +15 normal spellbook if I need it, I just use it to heal and invis myself.

Dunno dude, i always ponder this.

What's the best farm.

Was bloods, then swoops - for me it's miasmas on my Samurai, but for a tamer?
Honestly know it's silly but fan dancers work for me. Drop in a few secs 800 gold no casting easy AI. Can lure the others away and amazingly quick to drop when discod, barely even have to heal your pets...way better than bloods!

Succubi - no. AI too clever.

Fancy a challenge go champing. Get 200-300k when u kill the champ, SoTs and either replicas or scrolls. Cant be a bad thing.

I've heard Oni are good but can't find a decent spawn. I'd rather Balrons in Ilsh/blood to keep it interesting when you get a para every now and then...!

Rune beetles would be sweet but it can sometimes be a bit fraught round there.

I haven't got SA, but i'd guess thats the place to be to get imbuing ingredients...and sell for stuupid money...

I'd love to see more posts, but i think people want to keep their secrets, er, secret :p

Wenchy, like your style. Pretty practical but relaxed rather than the heartless farming I'm used to...
