where do cursed weapons come from?

Where do the "cursed" weapons and armors come from? If I get an artie from Doom is it going to be cursed?

Some old event, or several actually when you got cursed doom arties as rewards.

Cursed weapons come from graveyard spawns at Halloween. Not sure if they still run it every year but they did for three years in a row. Cursed are not rare or really of great value.
