Where can I find golems and controllers now?

Hey all..
I couldn't find anything. The whole blackthorn area in Ilsh is blocked now for what I've been able to gather was part of a story arc... so where do I hunt golems and controllers now? I want the golems for the gears, and the controllers for gems and compassion sage.

Please help me out!

Golems and controllers also spawn in Mistas and the woods around it between Honesty shrine and the Ankh dungeon entrance halfway between Honesty and Honor
