Where can I buy a non-exceptional hatchet?

I'm training swords & lumberjacking, so I need a fast axe. But since skeletons at yew crypts drop almost with one hit with my exceptional one, I'd like to have anormal hatchet without the +40% damage increase.

Unfortunately I'm completely clueless, where to buy one. I have checked smiths, tinkers & provisioners. No luck...

Any idea?

If those three NPC vendors do not have it, then I guess you will have to go to a player. If you are on Atlantic, send me a PM and I can make you one.

I think it is on the tinker menu and I have Tinkers with skill at 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 from the days of making locked boxes of various levels for lock-picking houses.

I'm on Drachenfels. Unfortunately, every tinker I met is GM...

BTW, what's a good price for Melisandes Corroded Hatchet? With -50% Damage and Self Repair 4 this would be a perfect training weapon.

Weaponsmiths sell hatchets, IIRC - they also sell nearly every other weapon than Blacksmiths & tinkers don't sell (like war forks).

Weaponsmiths are only found in about half the cities, and have their own shops (aren't at the smith's); the ones I know for sure are Moonglow and Jhelom.
