Where are server locations?

Last I remember servers were considered east coast, central, and west coast. Is that still the case now? I'm considering reactivating and jumping ship to one of the more populated shards like pac or atl, I hear atl is the biggest, but last I knew was located on east coast, I did a quick traceroute and am averaging about 115 ms to the server.

Over on pacific, because I live in CA, I'm down to about 40ish. Are these old addresses I'm sending packets to? I saw someone mention servers were now at one location. Or is everything as I remember it?

The Central shards have been moved to the East Coast location a while back. Atlantic is the largest shard (East coast location) and I believe that Pacific is the largest West Coast Server. Since you are in California and want a larger shard, I'd say Pacific is your best bet.

Also, does the Stygian Abyss download also come with the 2D client?

Stygian Abyss is an expansion - it will download with whatever client you choose to install - though you have to buy the code to unlock the content.

A little while back, they automatically upgraded all accounts for free through to the expansion just prior to Stygian Abyss.

You can download either the 2D or the newer enhanced client at UO.com (links on the right side I believe).

I think the latest edition that you get automatically is Mondian's.

Servers are located in virginia/washington DC, and somewhere on the west coast. Pinging 115 is still playable too. I live on the east, and play alot on the west coast servers.
