When renewing subscription in the UK it charges tax (VAT) twice

I have recently moved back to the UK and needed to change my UO subscription over to my UK credit card. Upon entering all the details and almost paying I noticed that it was trying to charge me tax (VAT) twice!

I have attached some screenshots below to explain what I mean. Is the correct price £11.99 per month like it was trying to charge me, or £9.99 like it says on the first page?

As you can see above it shows £9.99*

* = INCLUSIVE OF VAT (tax)

When I continued through after entering my card details it then shows me an additional tax fee of £1.67 ?!

I think I'll buy a code from the Origin store for the time being as its cheaper. I'd prefer to have a monthly subscription going though.

It still only charges you £9.99. Another great part of our billing system. I swear it was a Uni student project and EA desided to use it

Asked another friend in the UK and he said it shows the same amounts as posted above. He's going to check his statement and let me know if it did only charge £9.99

I just use GTCs these days as they cost £24.99 & £38.50 for a three and sixth month one respectively.
