When can we build here?

So I sailed my boat around to the mystery clearing on fire isle to check it out. Housing cannot be placed in this area but there are two small plots placed (by Bleak) on Test Center.

Will we ever be able to place on production shards or is the area reserved for events and such?

Isn't that where the "Fortune's Fire Casino" is on all shards, except Siege? (I've never visited the casinos, so I'm not sure. The only one I kind of know where it's located is Siege's, which I think is in Malas somewhere, as there's no volcano area on Siege.)

No the casino is on the mainland. I sailed from there to get to that opening.

IIRC, the casino is to the west of there.

Yes the casino is another location. I've attached the map and highlighted the casino location. You have to get a boat and sale to the hidden grass area.

Yeah I had a look at the casino when it came out. I really want them to add PvP poker. That would be awesome and also a good gold sink.

Would not be good for your pocket book DJad. I can dodge bullets! That would be an awesome addition. a whole new profession the pvp gambler!

I think that location on Great Lakes is used on occasion for EM events. Good place for evil to meet with comparatively scant chance of beint noticed. (If it's not that location then it's a very similar one.)

I, for one, like the idea of housing not being available everyplace. Perhaps in every map (so maybe a house or 2 in Ilshenar), but maybe not even that.

And certanily not every seemingly-available place in every map.

It would be a great place for a house, but it is also a very good spot for player events, as long as no one parks a boat in the entrance

Runes can be marked in there, I've dug many treasure chests in that area.

I think they should open up Malas for Castles and Keeps, maybe they should restrict placement to active and often logged into accounts though...

It is likely being saved for a specific building from Ultima lore if they ever decide to add it, given its location.

Yeah the games aren't great in my opinion. Proper casino type games would be an awesome addition to UO. Thinks like blackjack, bingo, slots using RNG, roulette and POKER! All of these you could play against other players and I think it would be great fun. It would also work with Ultima Lore, as I'm sure Buc's den in Ultima VII was a gambling den with those kind of games. Dam, it even had a massage house there!

I placed a house in that little S shaped space to the bottom left of the pic on LS. The S shaped island of sand surrounded by mountains. Got super lucky when this all happened. I had a boat parked in that location,never knowing what was planned for the area. Sheer luck.

Than log in one mornin and my boats gone and I`m standing in that space. Thanks to that placement and marked runes, I`m sure there are plenty of people on other shards that got that plot thanks to Ole Mitzlplik!

If this would be done, these buildings should be untradable, and the spot blocked after demolition just like after an IDOC.
