I'm sure that expression holds true for people who've never had actual vanilla. The same people will tell you there's no difference between "choc" and chocolate, or "ice confection" and icecream. Vanilla isn't an absence of flavour at all.

I have 2 ethy ki-rins and one unicorn and a charger of the fallen. I like them all. The ki-rins have a funny gate when you ride them.

I'm an oldie who never thought a llama was realistic so didn't fall to the trend, so horses for me, but second fav I think is the giant beetle.

I like none of the ethies ghosted.

I'd normally include unicorns as they look good enough in the EC, but their size compared to our characters riding them is somewhat off.
What I can't stomach at all is the swamp dragon, EC or 2D version. It should have been a bit more dragon-like.. rolleyes:

I wish we had more selections now that we've got that tool- Grizzled mares, skeletal steeds, those dread mares no longer spawning, maybe even something similar to the Faction war-horses. And this game still lacks a ride-able tiger or something.. ;P

Horses "fit" the riding animation better. Any mount that isn't third year is ugly, except polar bears.

I used to use the unicorn a lot on my main warrior but he, like all my chars are male and I got tired of explaining how it is that a male is able to ride the horned equine.

Besides, live mounts can always have a ethy backup, but ethies cant really have a live mount backup.

also pet balls are a lil faster to summon than jump on an ethy, good for sticky situations
