Whats with the skating?

You know what I mean...
I am seeing characters glide over the ground. Legs don't move. Horses legs dont move... just... skate. As if they were a doll on wheels.
Is this a result of certain people using a speedhack (i notice it a lot in yew)?
Anyone?

You're not alone. I noticed it too.

Seeing a lot of people doing it...
It doesn't seem to be limited to any particular group of people, so it doesn't seem to be speedhacking related.
At the very least, I've seen people skating around, and they're people I'm 90% certain don't cheat, and folk I can keep up with in a straight line.

I think the movement/animation code is a little iffy.
I've had my gargoyle flying sideways, and stuff.

this is often caused by frame skipping, lag on your end or graphical glitches pertaining to the new expansion. I need only point to frenzied ostards to make my point that sometimes animations die.

Anyways, I have a related question - I see the opposite. Folks stopping on a tile, but their legs/mounts' legs are still moving.

Anyone seeing this? Kinda weird.
