Whats this chest, why did it spawn on the water & why cant i have it?

Has anyone else seen those before? For once i thought us Pirates got a lil love in the form of long overdue new loot...

It kind of looks like a chest of sending. Not sure why it would be in the water though, unless someone figured out how to use it on a boat and the boat sank *shrugs*
Hmmm. The chest of sending dosent look like that in 2d. Maybe its the ship hold graphic that went offset when the vessel was destroyed...? Weird things happen on the high seas.
Ok , but the thing is, i never seen this kind of graphic for a chest before.
I'm not sure which one this is either. It's kind of like a rarewood chest, but looks like it's almost two tiles in length like a gargish chest. Was it on top of that unused tile to start with?
This chest just started appearing with the last publish. It appears on the end of a scuttled Tokuno merchant ship. Before, there was a tile in the exact location that said "unused."

Hells Ironworks plays on Atl, thats all i have though. There is no telling where he was, he is one heck of a pirate
u know, that would be interesting if it hasn't already been added. To be able to fish up, or discover locations of sunken ships and be able to "fish up" a treasure chest with various things... OR kind of like Treasure Hunting... Have maps that give locations of areas that a ship might have sank in and allow the player to go and fish in the water to try and dig up the treasure chest?

oh, well I mean maybe... Im not a fishermen or a pirate so i've never played with SoS's,... Do SoS's already allow players to "FISH UP" full treasure chests with armor and/or gold along with maybe a treasure map?
You knwo what would be cool... Is if some of the maps that you fish up lead you to another ship full of pirates where you have to aboard there ship and kill the pirates and search for the treasure on the ship before it sinks or like dissapears or somethin? Then if the timer runs out before you've found the chest or treasure then you die or something? Maybe have several fishing poles attached to the ship so you have to check each one individually to see which one has the treasure dangling under the water? lol I dont know, just something new.
You just said that you dont have a fisherman. Wouldn't the stuff already in the game be new to you?
Stick with what you do, or I'll start suggesting how to make PvP better.

) As for the location i can only tell you i was somewhere east of Ice island. But that prolly wont help...And since you're asking, YES i would love new Pirate loot & content !! Care to lemme know what some of it might be?
Exactly. We had our Tokuno ship damaged and that was in the water next to the back of the ship. After emergency repairs it went away.
