What's dci cap now?

Hit lower defense now ignores over capped DCI

The stat bar shows a DCI cap of 45. With refined armor you can get 70 (?) DCI. Sooo, do I build a suit with 45 dci since anything overcap is ignored ooor do I build it with 70 dci? Can I get to 70 DCI using ONLY refined armor or can it be done the normal way (jewels,weapons,talisman)? This game is getting so confusing and complicated it's not much fun anymore

The CAP is 45% DCI. Refinements adjust the CAP... at an exchange rate of 1% Specific Resist CAP for 1% DCI CAP. This means you can lower all your resist caps to 65% and correspondingly increase your DCI Cap 5% per resist X 5 Resists = 25% DCI CAP increase. 45% Original DCI CAP becomes 45% + 25% = 70% DCI CAP @ the cost of having all 65% Resistance CAPS (which means when cursed you'd drop down to 55% !! ouch.) This can also go the other direction and you could MAX out your resistances at +5% to Each Cap for a cost of losing -25% DCI CAP so 45% DCI CAP down to 20% DCI CAP with all 75% Resists (if your not an elf). Hope that makes it a bit more clear. I always start with WHY would want to do something before I bother figuring out HOW I would go about doing it....

I am thinking of trying out raising all my resist, dropping my DCI and running 120 parry w/ 120 bushido and a 2-handed weapon.
