What Year is this Ticket ?

I found a Ticket that reads :

"This is a Prize Ticket! It will only work for YOU, So Don't Give It Away."

It is Blessed and green in color.

When double click, I can claim any of these :

- Snowballs
- Holiday Tree
- Wrist Watch
- Snow Globe (City)
- Snow Globe (Other)
- Statue

I have been trying to find on what year it was given but fruitlessly.
Anyone knows ?

Thank you, how come I could not find it listed either on UO Stratics within the holiday items nor on UOGuide ?

Do you know whether the Wrist Watch it gives is just the same as the 1997 Wrist Watch ?
Also, what type of Statue is the statue it gives ?

Bottom line is, what would I be better off at chosing of the gifts available ?

I don't mean to criticize, but so many of your posts remind me of the movie The Italian Job where Edward Norton has all the gold and buys what everyone else wanted. UO is what you make of it. Which one of those gifts is one that YOU want. If you don't want any of them, what difference does it make. I think you may be missing a huge part of what makes UO so special by always seeming to copy what everyone else is doing... Just my opinion from seeing your posts.

The statue is the colored holiday statues with the historical names. You can find a list in this forums archive section. The wrist watch would be a holiday time piece.

It would be a better choice to choose a statue (if all you want is to sell it).

Thing is, that the Shard where I have recovered that ticket is Siege Perilous on which I am trying to raise some gold to get a head start since I got PSs to buy etc. and all I have there is 1,000 GPs ......
So, I am trying to maximize the little I have there and sell the least I possibly can to get enough I need to then work on my character....

Hmmm..... then the odds of getting something good are very slim as the rare ones of those statues are just a few among a pool of many..... Sure, if I get a Surfer or an Angel it's a good one but that's very low odds and I only have 1 try..... the choice sounds very difficult to make....

There are also some rare named busts style statues and one praying rare named statue, those are worth in excess of 15 mill each or more depending on the buyer. The xmas statue option has the best chance for value. There's a sticky thread at the top of the rares forum with the list of the possible names and there relative rariety.

Popps: If you are looking at a piece like this on Siege - then you should ask about it in the Siege Forum. Things are quite different between Siege and the rest of the shards. What is valuable here often is not there and vice-versus.

I have no idea why they named it that way with the exception that a holiday timepiece is essentially a watch as well. If you think it'll be a wrist watch and that is what you want, go ahead and choose that.

You should choose whatever you want. It isn't my job to convince you one way or the other. You asked for an opinion and it seemed you wanted a choice that had a chance to give you the most return. I gave you that.
