What to fight to gain skill in 90's

I know msot people just tell you to find a guildmate with a prepatch golem. I'd rather know what mobs to fight. I'm at 94 and not gaining off trogs any more.

Anybody have any suggestions or maybe a list of what monsters to fight when?

If you aren't gaining off of troglodytes, then you should check to make sure you have room left for skill gains (at or near the 700-720 cap? skills marked down?). They'll easily take you to 120 weapon skill.

Other good candidates are:
Miasma (slower, but will get you rich on the way)
Cyclopses
Fan dancers
Rotting corpses
Doom Gauntlet
Silver serpents (I found that out by accident doing a Baracoon champ)
Ogre Lords

My favorites are the troglodytes and the fan dancers, as the spawn rate is good and you'll get fairly rich on the path.

Golems are overrated.

Well, if trogs should work, I'll stick with them because it's super safe and I'm getting tons of fame. But I'll try some of those others to switch it up when I hit a wall. Thanks.

I took my swordsman to the painted caves to training on trogs. I went from 80 to 115 there and also from 40 to 100 in bushido. I also finished anatomy and tactics there. All during the same time. There spawn rate is fast. I would also take the soul seeker. Great leeches and ssi.

Yeah, I stuck with it and eventually broke out of whatever I was stuck in. Took another 8 or so trogs and it began moving again. Trogs are so easy with my healing pally that I figured it was worth the slowness. Things picked up a little and I hit GM yesterday and, ya, already bought a Soul Seeker for when I go back for some farming instead of skill gain for which I was using a butcher knife.

During that time I also got my parrying to 83, anat to 90, healing to 79, and tactics to 94.

For parrying...the best way to gain in parrying is with sheep and great harts. Equipment your with weapon that you have no skill in and use best weapon skill. So wiht swords get a macing weapon for something long those lines and head out the farms in Yew. Now this is the crazy part but it works. Get naked. Run around and attack the sheep. When you have 5 or 6 get of out war mode and your gains will start in about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes it should take you no time to GM or even higher. Have lots and lots of aids. At the same time you are training parrying you are also training healing and anatomy.

Thanks. I managed to get myself surrounded by 8 sheep. They ate through a dozen shields. I set up a macro in the game to bandage then delay 100 as many times as I could which I think was 4 so I only had to click over once a minute. Was about 3 1/2 hours from 83 to 110.
