What to do with the points?

Ok guys i have quite a few points from the cleanup and my question is what do you guys get for your points?..Well I got 30 bless deeds but not sure if they will be worth someting in the future..and i got most of the things i thought might be worth someting.fishermen suit sets of boots jewellry...So what would you guys get?...I have 4 million points left..so what now?

I'm in the same boat, though I have about 1/10th of the points (about 400,000), but I already had the suits from the Spring Cleaning event so don't need the inferior versions, I have the Bleue set as well as the deco stuff I want. I grabbed the fisherman's set (though I doubt I'll use it) as well as a full set of boots and a couple extra nocturne earrings. Haven't gotten bless deeds because I can't really think of a reason to use one and apparently EVERYONE else is getting them in spades, so yeah, I'm in the same boat... plenty of points, not sure what to spend them on.

(Though the addition of the Compassion Dyes would give me something to spend them on )

I think the boot sets will be nice even though suits are easy to make with a lot of resists.

The fishing suits will be nice for bait fishing and is they ever adjust the new champ.

I ended up selling those night sight earrings Last time.

I'd hold at least or each armor set.

Then some jewelry sets.

I actually think blessvdeeds will be worth very little especially since clothing deeds already cover some items. Everyone is loading up on bless deeds. Insurance is cheeper and demand will be lower.

Bless deeds do nothing for me because like you said, clothing bless deeds cover the clothing items (which tend to NOT have durability issues), personal bless deed takes care of something odd (such as my fisherman's fishing pole), and the rest of the equipment I use tends to be imbued (thus would be a bit longer term of blessing a mining shovel... quite a waste at the end of it all.

The earrings are good for dungeon characters, though to be honest, outside of that, I actually enjoy playing the game without nightsight to see the lighting effects at night.

Well with all my points, on two shards, all I got so far, a fire pit on each shard. Meh no clue what I will get with the rest of all my points on both shards.

I am not into bless deeds anyhow on Ches. and of course they are not even available on Siege anyhow, as they should not be on Siege, to begin with and so the bless deeds thing for points, are NOT on Siege list of offerings. Everything else on the list {on Siege} is the same as every other shards' list, save for that bless deed.

I had a beehive on Siege, but I didn't have one yet, on Ches.
so I did get the beehinve, too on Ches. shard.

I duno maybe I will get the fishin set on Ches. [or not].

With halloween coming, maybe I will just blow points on some silly frog costume and I will still have too many points left to spend.

I'm curious, just how many items have you ran from 255/255 durability to 0/255 durability then repairing again and again all the way to breaking at 0/0 since the release of SA?

Because after 1 year no piece of my mage's suit is even half way down the first 255. 161/255 is the lowest.

People VASTLY overstate the fragility of imbued items. That's probably why the new sets only come with 125 durability and even at that they'll still probably last until the game shuts down.

I have a maxed out set of jewelry with + to mage, taming, lore and vet and LRC... Blessed

I have a suit for dexxers that uses leggings of ember, samuri helm, duprees shield, the gauntlets of valor, and holy sword... just a few peices missing for an entire blessed suit.

makes playing easier for me.

Europa, but tbh the turn in stuff doesn't really bother me I just junked some extra stuff and found i had more points than I thought. Wasn't expecting to reach anywhere near the whole virtue set and definitely not the bless deed but it seems I am within reach.

That would be a question I cannot at this moment answer because I've changed suits on my active characters more than once since SA was released and the latest suits are still rather new (although my main PvM melee suit IS taking quite a beating... my fisherman/archer's suit... not so much, I just recently repaired my Horselord that I've been using since ToT3 for the first time).

I think one of the devs should do a database query and see just how many points are sitting there unused, so they can see how great (or not so great) of a job they did at designing the rewards.

I think they will be surprised.

I want to see things like the forged metal tool and full soulstones added to the reward list.

Unless they add some very interesting stuff to the rewards list my points are going to be mostly unused.

Just dont do a doozy like I did yesterday... I was preparing to Xfer some stuff from Pacs to Europa and needed to delete a toon to accomodate the xfered one.

What I forgot to do after emptying the toon was to make sure it wasnt my CUB toon... I'm not even gonna estimate how many points I threw in the recycle bin...

I got all of those last clean up plus Chaos.
No real suggestion on what to do with the virtue tiles per say, but what I have done, is just as winter ends and spring begins, I use em.

In some sort of snow & green design all over the house yard or rooftop green lawn area, it is usually round st. patrick's day, one will find every virtue tile going around my house yard, with it's matching snowglobe per shrine atop every tile.

Meh tis only once a yr. that I do that,

but kinda a nice big visual house lawn & garden virtues w chaos deco sorta...
snow melting into greenery deco scheme, every march or so with every virtue tile
each sporting their matching shrine snowglobes.

I never turn in the complete set of shrine snowglobes anyhow, and I always kept the orig cities snowglobe full set too. Never plan to turn those in, spares of em that I had yeh I turned em in, but I always kept 1 *full set* of them.

PS. Also the Chaos snowglobe with matching tile, with one's Ankh of Sacrifice mimacing the real chaos area to get a res. on one's own porch area can be deco for year round use too folks see it and know if they are dead, your house is a place, where they can also 'get a res'.

Yup, and I pointed that out MANY times when people were pissing and moaning about imbuing and decay rates.

As long as you don't ride it down to 0/x and start losing x - imbued items will last years. I actually make my armor with 100 durability to start and it will last years as long as you repair by a 120 crafter and do it before it gets into the single digits.

I cleaned out my houses and bank boxes this weekend. When it was all said and done I ended up with roughly 850k points and very little I really want to buy.

I'll probably end up getting my tamer a sorcerer's suit so my mage can have his back. I figure since my tamers not usually in the thick of the battle, he won't destroy a replica set too quickly. I'll probably get the fisherman suit too, just in case I decide to use my fisherman more in the the future. The rest I'll use on a few pair of nocturne earrings and deco.

Last cleanup I was scraping for points just to get the one thing I wanted. This time I have plenty of points, but nothing I really want to spend them on.

But no matter what I spend the points on, I already got the one thing I really wanted. Available storage space in my house.

So far nothing but I will be getting more earrings, many boots and the bard suit I think. I've been waiting for a write up on the positve and negative effects of the suit but have yet to see one. As far as I can tell for my play style(pvp mostly) the earrings and boots will be the best value.

I have old blessed scissors but, IMO, using a deed on items like that would be the best idea.

I think people are missing the point of the clean-up. Morphing a bunch of items into a bunch of other items isn't the plan. It's to get rid of a bunch of stuff and turn it into a single point total. There are enough rewards available to entice people to turn in, but not enough that it's a flat-out recycling system.

As much as I like soulstones, turning junk into something as good as soulstones doesn't make much sense to me(Ever seen Hoarders? All you win when you collect crap is a house that smells like it; no one's going to give you bonus points for that gift box you saved from 8 Christmas's ago).

Personally, aside from some decorations, I keep nothing in my house that doesn't have practical value. My characters craft and fight, so if it doesn't aid me in one of those two objectives it gets trashed or sold for something that does. I get penalized for that during these events.

Then thinking about investing in some valorite hammers / barbed runic kits to see if I can make some perfect pieces of armor and then bless those.

This has been the first such event that hasn't really had an overbearing reasoning behind it.

Clean Up Britannia I was necessary due to the upcoming restriction of house storage to locked down items and secures.

Spring Cleaning was initiated in order to rid the world of an abundance of event items that people kept expecting them to have further use (in many items, it was actually stated they would).

Clean Up 2011... well, aside from the Crystallized Essences and unless there are upcoming changes that we haven't been let in on yet, there hasn't been much of a point to have it really. Granted for myself and apparently others it's been a good reason to do a full-fledged cleanout of everything and open up some storage space for the future.
