Was just settling down to do some imbuing on my crafter (the one in the blue bone armour) when what should happen?

I appeared at the door or rather my other char Sparkle (the one in the DoT uniform)
Another new bug?
The other me wont highlight or dis-appear but its rather odd that the troll outside my house wants to attack her rather than me.

If you only have one account, and both those characters are on it - bug report time.

If you have two accounts, and those two characters are on different accounts - be very concerned in case you have an account security issue....

Yup both chars on the same account, I logged Sparkle back in to see what would happen and theirs now 2 of her.
A loud chatty one and a quiet statue one

Mine may be different. When I do my gardening and log out to bring in a new character, the gardener will sometimes pop back in. He has no name and no bar when I try to look at him. He has a skele costume on but when he pops in his costume is not on him.

This happened to a guild mate who was swapping between his crafter and his main character. His crafter popped back into game in the spot he logged her out. He was standing next to her and both characters are on the same account.

A common theme is starting to form, Crafting or something todo with crafting is causing the last char to re-appear?

Has anyone had this happen outside of their house? Could be a nasty exploit if used in a dungeon or something as the 'not there' char can be targeted by mobs but not take damage.

This is on the 2D client for me so i had to send in an e-mail bug report.

I've had this happen before (on a non-crafter)

It usually happens to me when i am getting on an ethy or other mount.
sometimes it is a bar with no name and sometimes it has a name i can
pull up and read.

Ive logged in on my main and seen my main standing there once in 12 years. happens i guess.

It seems to be something todo with the costumes as it happens to me all the time if i log one char out with the costume on and log another in, the one with the costume will still be stood there.
I did take a screeny of it the first time it happened ill see if i can find it.

Similar thing happened to me the other night. I was online with my tamer, and went to swap over to my necro for a bit. I logged the tamer off, logged on to the necro and the tamer was still standing there where I logged him off at. Keep in mind, both characters are on the same account. On a whim, I attacked my tamer with my necromancer to see if it would actually hit him. I hit him, and then the tamer disappeared, but the NEXT night when I logged back on to play the tamer, he was STILL combat flagged??

Yes, I've had it happen too. -Log off one character and onto another on the same account. That was years back. The character that I had logged off of would disappear in about 30 seconds, and I never did find a particular cause. It was different every time.

Same thing just happened to me about 5-10 minutes ago. I had logged the character in skeleton form (costume) if that makes a difference.

Indeed thanks Thunderz, i reproduced the issue by logging out a char in a costume outside of my house, after the log out time i relogged another char in. Didn't see the first char to start with but after about a minute *poof* their she was.
She's got a rat nibbling away at her feet now.
Can the stratics 'powers that be' let the UO 'powers that be' know (incase you have a hotline or something, not sure if e-mails will be seen this side of x-mas)
