What pet is this?

Hey all,

So last night my first ever Greater Dragon bonded (yes!). I named him PainInMyArse, because thats what he was when I went to tame him. And this morning I decided to take him out to see what he could do. Didn't have much time before work so I headed to swoop.

I'd killed maybe one or two swoops when some tard named Eleonardo just shows up and starts attacking swoop without saying even "Hi, can we share". Then he pretended to be foreign, and said "sprechen ze deutch", because Sonoma is where all the foreign European players come (riight). And because European players aren't aware of things like common courtesy. Haha, sure thing buddy. Some people's children....

Anyway he had what appeared to be two nightmares. When I lored one, it had regular night-marish stats. But the other had incredible stats and it doesn't appear to be a regular nightmare.

It had twice the HP and seemed better than mares and was cutting through swoop fairly impressively. His "mare", One, was jet black.

Can anyone tell me what pet he had and if it's possible to still get one?

It is a dreadmare, which no longer spawns.

Thanks for the answers... I thought that was it but I also thought they had war armor on them or something and this had none. They sure are nice.. hope they start spawning again one day.

No clue where people got the name dreadmare, but that wasn't ever what they were called. But I guess thats beside the point.

Its a Dread Warhorse, which only spawned during the shadow lords story arc. The vanguards which would spawn in certain towns would ride them and you could bola them off of the mounts and then tame them.

Only way to get one now is to pay a pretty penny.
