I am a squishy mage/bard with skills in the 60's and my bf is a bushido/fencer with skills in the 80's. We have been killing Ettins and Earth Elementals in Despise, but are getting kinda bored with that. We also have been fighting Solen Warriors, but since he's melee, he kinda dies in the acid. D:

Anyone have any suggestions on what we can fight next? I have been a little frightened of venturing into Ilshenar yet. But maybe there are some good spots to train there for these levels? I appreciate your advice!

You could go fight the Titans and Cyclopean Warriors just east of Ish Valor moongate. He should get decent gains, and you could stand back and keep him healed and cured. If you have ML, a decent suit and maybe a repond slayer you could also go fight the Trogs in the painted caves. Also a good place for gains. What shard are you all on and maybe someone could show you some places or help in any other way.

OK we'll try that. I have ML, but he doesn't, so the painted caves wouldn't work. We don't really have decent suits yet. Still so poor =[ He has a few pieces of the Virtue armor set. I am trying to get MR and LRC with phys resist on my suit. (haha) He has healing around 68ish, so he can heal himself pretty good. I slip in a heal when I can. Any other suggestions? We are on Legends.

You might also check the 3 Ish spawns and the tokuno spawn. You should be able to handle the first two levels of any of the spawns without to much problems if you work together. If you do the Oaks spawn, kill the shadow wisps on the first level, wisps on the second, and centaurs on the third. By killing just those mosters you won't loose karma and as long as you have positive karma only the moster you attack will attack you. On the last level I probably would only attack the sepentine dragons and only if someone else is also attacking it as well since they are above your skill level. The winged warriors will actually rez you if you have positive karma, and at your skill levels they would kill you pretty quickly if you attacked them. If you do go to the Oaks spawn, I probably wouldn't cast area effect spells or blade spirits since it will attack everything and eventually you will have negative karma and everything will attack you. The upside of the champ spawns is that you have a chance at getting the pink scrolls, a artifact drop, and collect the gold after the champ has died.

Wow! Even more great ideas! And looking on stratics at those mobs, I should be able to continue to gain in bard skills too. :D Any reason to avoid the pixies, ki-rins and unicorns? Do they give negative karma when killed? We'll definitely check this out today. Thanks again.

Yes, killing the pixies, ki-rins, and unicorns will cause you to loose karma. As long as you keep an eye on your karma level you can kill some of those. The last level you can probably just go around keeping people healed.
