What Luck Total Am I Looking For?

I managed to dig up about 20 or more chest this week. After reading a post saying luck has no effect on chest loot I went ahead and revised my entire suit dropping all my luck thinking hey, lets make this suit max 70s, with some major stat upgrades. Well I found out the post was really old and luck does indeed play a role now. My current luck suit is only 1350 and it is pretty basic. Luck Necklace, Armor of Fortune, Swords of Prosp, and soles of providence. The rest are crafted items. I was considering the Mempo, that would take almost all my gold to obtain. My jewels are +taming skill since my taming is only 90. Ring and brace are both +13 Animal Taming, LRC, LMC, 90 luck so the one set they have wont work for me at the moment. I am maxed out at 720skill not sure if I should drop something to bring taming higher.

Is there a magic number I'm shooting for or do I just get luck as high as I can? I'm on Atlantic if anyone has pieces they would like to sell. Thanks.

Cartography 100
Lockpicking 100
Magery 110
Meditation 100
Animal Lore 110
Veterinary 110
Animal Taming 90

Hello again, luck does effect loot generation in dug up chests. As much luck as you can wear is best. I use the EC to swap suits, wear the luck suit until the chest pops then switch to my combat gear. Works great.

Hey, never thought of that. Are there any must have luck items you think I should grab? Is the Mempo worth 38mil in your opinion? I am not sure how to set up the armor swap in EC. Can I do it while the chest is going through the reveal process?

Ouch 38 million... i dont think you will recover the difference in loot between 200 and 300 luck. I wouldnt spend your last gold on it... get someone to reforge a one hand weapon and shield for you with max luck and replace the swords of pros.

In the actions menu you'll see icons for Luck Suit and Best Suit. Add them to your hot bar. Wear your luck suit, right click on luck icon, edit, add what you're wearing. Take the luck suit off do the same thing with your normal suit for the Best Suit icon. Then you just need to click or set a hot key for the suit icons.

Okay I got the hot bar setup for changing suits. Didn't know you could do that with EC. I have a legendary smith/tailor with imbuing I will see if I can figure out the luck suit. Basically since I swap suits i can just make it 100% LRC and as much luck as I can get on it right? Shouldn't be to hard if that's it.
