What kind of hammer to keep

I have about 600 smith bods that are filled and that I'll be echanging this week-end and I'm wondering which large ones I should bother keeping. I play on Great Lakes. I was told that only agapite and up. What about the ancient ones? I plan to sell all these, as I don't have a need for armor. Any comment on this would be appreciated. I usually only do tailoring bods so I'm new to the Smith ones.

Ive always heard to keep gold hammers and above though I know of a few players that say that they will use the bronze and try to make the weps from recipes for the slayer weps and shoot for a superslayer with good mods.

For the ASH (ancients) definitely keep the +60 skill hammer, I personally keep the +30 and use for enhancing items that I think are good but not uber.

For Large BODs, I keep Gold and above. With the huge colored Ingot shortage I've been facing since February, I don't want to waste ingots on an LBOD for anything less.

I do fill the singles for Bronze Hammers though.

In terms of ingot usage, only fill BODs for Bronzes that give a bronze hammer for a single small BOD (provided the large's reward, if there is a large for it, is crap). You may want to get a couple of ASH+10s from single small BODs as well, for general crafting purposes (like making swamp dragon armor), if you don't want to waste ASH+30 charges.

Large BODs, fill the ones for gold or better runics, the ASH+30 & ASH+60.

Small or large, you may want to roll the dice on those that have the 10% chance of colored anvils (rare decorations, that typically sell for about 100-500k), especially the larges.

You may also need to fill a Shadow Plate EX 20, Copper Plate EX 10 or 15, for a 120 Smith BOD, if you don't have one yet.
