[Archery] What it the best bow for PvM?

1. Yumi bow has a Double Shot... but
- DS costs 60 mana (compare with 40 mana for AI/DS for a melee char)
- only 40 HML can be imbued (compare with 75-100 HML on a melee weapon)
- Yumi has 13-17 damage (compare with 15-18 on a 2H melee weapon with the same swing speed)

So I'm sure I will not be able to chain Double Shot.

2. Elven Longbow (with 35 SSI reforged) does 13% more damage... but hasen't any good Special Move

3. Composite bow (with 25 SSI imbued) has a good damage and AI (which I will not be able to chain)... but I can't get 1.25s with it.

Elven Longbow: 40 DPS
Composite bow: 35 DPS
Yumi: 35 DPS (without SSI - then an additional mod)

Regarding uo stratics double shot costs 35(70) mana base, double strike 30(60)

Well im not very pupular with bow weapons, but i guess it also depends on your swing speed. What do you think about a repeating crossbow? Or is this not possible?

I don't want to use a low damage weapon.
I have trained Dex up so now I have 191 stamina with potions (and 87 mana).

You can't get a composite bow to 1.25?

I could... but I don't want to sacrifice all for 210 stam... just to get the same 1.50s after getting cursed.
I can imbue 25 SSI on a composite bow and get 1.50s with 191 stamina.

We just have killed Corgul. 90 resists... nothing to do without AI.

Are you suggesting 210 stamina and 45 SSI?

IMHO it isn't a good idea. Any serious mob curses you. You need 220 stamina or 190. At practice there is not much difference between 195 and 210 stamina.

I use 30 SSI Composite Bow and have 10 SSI in Armor and live white 1,75s at 160 Dex + (have 170).

2 Hand Weapons now can have 550 Points so i play relaxt white 30 SSI, 50 DI, Superslayer, 37% Hit Mana Lech and 50% Hit Stamania Lech and 2 HPR and 16% Lifelech on them.

Not Interested in Lesser thats only for mages who have no sdi/"di" cap.
