i dont really pvp very much in UO, but while doing so in other games i must say that "Impetus" by Clutch really gets my blood boilin!!

anothe clutch tune that rocks for the pvp mindset is called "Pile Driver"

little sample of the lyrics...

"Now it seems as though the tables have turned.
Another dead man is another lesson learned.
Because one good turn deserves another...
So here it is you mother !@#$er!!"

semi-automatic hate machine, and ive gone ballistic!

I usually listen to "The Red & the Black" by Blue Oyster Cult or "Another one Bites the Dust" by Queen whenever I pvp

I seriously seem to do better at pvp when I do heh

It is very possible I was listening to Celine Dion singing The Power of Love, when I threw a pie with excessive force at Sir Toby's head in Makato a few weeks ago...so I've decided that is a bit too potent to have around when I am playing UO.

There is a guy in Iantown
They call Ru'ura'pente
And he's been the ruin of many a poor soul
And God I know I'm one

Sissy was a tailor
She sewed my new barbed sleaves
Khamul was a gamblin' man
Down in Iantown

Now the only thing a Khamul needs
Is an ale and axe
And the only time he's satisfied
Is when he's on a drunk

------ organ solo ------

Oh mother tell your children
Not to do what I have done
Spend your lives in sin and misery
with a guy named Ru'ura'pente

Well, I got one foot in the grave
The other foot in a gate
I'm goin' back to Iantown
To wear that ball and chain

Well, there is a guy in Iantown
They call Ru'ura'pente
And it's been the ruin of many a poor soul
And God I know I'm one

UO sounds with HGTV in the background

Call me crazy but I like the UO sounds. Kinda keeps me imersed in the game.
I did have UORadio going while I sit here churning out kegs but DJ Plucky Duck Sucks so I'd rather listen to the mortar grind

I use headphones when I play UO - I like to hear every detail of the game, footsteps, spell noises, weapon noises - etc.
However, once and awhile (very seldom) I listen to the music I have saved on my PC which is everything from the Clash, the Cure, Pantera, A Perfect Circle, Beastie Boys, Tony C and the Turth, Cradle of Filth, Damage Plan, Lacuna Coil and more

I keep the game sounds on too...once in a while I will play my CD player in the background or a downloaded piece of music on my PC, but for the most part, I also hear the cows mooing, chimes jangling, people stomping around, and most importantly...the tell-tale bells of an evil dark wisp lurking within 1 screen...that has saved my pixels more than I can count. I still have the goofy UO music on, but I changed the volume proportion greatly in favor of the ambient sounds. Some of the dungeon music starts to feel like an ice pick stabbing my brain after it cycles long enough.

I usually didn't listen to music much while I played, but back when you and I were in J-D together I went on a stint of putting "know your enemy" by Rage Against the Machine on repeat while PvPing. :)

I don't listen to any music while PvPing, it kinda messes up my ability to communicate on vent to have music in my headphones too.

I listen to random metal usually while I play UO. Mostly power metal stuff. Sonata Arctica, Children of Bodom, Equilibrium, Finntroll, whatthehellever.

As for my PvP music... I replaced all the battle music files in my UO directory with the Benny Hill theme (aka "Yakety Sax.")

Comedy gold, folks. Especially when I ended up stuck on a small island running in circles for 5 minutes with about 13 KSS/CWS a few weeks ago. :D

You'll know your in vent with Star Jamison if you can hear MMM Bop by Hanson blaring in the background. That song gets me so pumped for PVP. It's my fuel.

agreed. if the fighting gets too intense i turn my music off also. "i couldnt hear you over the music" is not a good excuse for letting your friends die.

i listen to the orchestral version of one winged angel, btw. i like it better than the original.

also, a perfect circle is another band i listen to while fighting. something about the risiding action in the song "thomas" that really does it for me.

My Chemical Romance - Hang Em High is one of my #1 pvp songs. Cradle of Filth works, as does any afi, disturbed, pantera, and any other MCR songs. Another band that I like to play to is Goblin... and Apocalyptica.
But of course, my all time favorite pvp song would have to be the theme song I downloaded for Mortal Combat!!! that first time they scream "MORTAL COMBAT" just makes me want to pick a target and beat em to a bloody pulp.
