What is with all these super uber spellbooks?

I did not know a spellbook could have all this cool stuff on them. I saw one that had HCI 7%, SDI 25%, FCR 2 , and something else on them.

Was there something I missed since I been gone?

I looked on the startics site and there was nothing about it.

And what is the deal with this spring cleaning chest thing?

Is stratics still a good site to look up info I need?

The spellbooks were dropped as loot when you killed a High ranking officer during the invasion. They were never intended to be blessed on Siege, but the devs just used the same code as prodo shards.

Spring cleaning was 2 springs ago if I remember correctly, you were able to turn in various items to NPCs around town and you were awarded a ticket with a point value related to the item you turned in. Artifacts gave 25,000 points and other items gave anywhere from 25 to 10,000 points.

You could turn your tickets in and purchase items from the chest if you had enough points, it was an effort to free up lock down space in houses, the devs never took the chests away. They finally made many items stackable, like bottles and arcane gems, dough and clockwork assemblies, etc...

There really is no reason for kegs anymore now though ( unless you're a vendor who sells potions and cant afford the bottles ), as bottles stack.

I think I read that you can still turn in your tickets with points if you still have some. Or was it that you can still claim stuff if you have points? Hmm, not sure which...

So I am trying to find info on these spellbooks to see what max properties comes with them. Having trouble finding them on UOGuide.com. Is there a better place I should be searching?

Would that one be best for PvM?

Would the DCI 10, SDI 30, FCR 2, LMC 5 spellbook be better for PvM?
