Atlantic is the busiest shard. I hear Cats, Europa, and Siege also have decent player bases.

If you end up on Atlantic, let me know if you need help choosing a guild. There are tons of excellent guild homes to choose from on Atlantic, depending on what you're interested in.

Siege is very low population, though I will say this out of the half dozen shards I play or have played on Siege has the best community hands down. They fight, rob, and taunt each other constantly, but when it comes time they pull together better than any other shards population hands down.

Siege has a low population because you can only create one toon per account. What I mean to say is that Siege seems to be a very active shard. Sorry if I misspoke.

Good suggestion. This will show you which is most active at your prime-playing time - though it will still probably be Atlantic.
