What is the best class of character for the new expansion?

Trying to decide which of two accounts to upgrade with the new expansion; basically looking at either a tamer/peacer, a necro mage, or a sampire. Thoughts?

If you're going to be doing PvM, sampire. Can solo all the new bosses, not sure on champ spawns but that's Fel ruleset so I don't know if you could solo the spawn start to finish anyway.

Psst...He didnt quit specifically say pvp so I was suggesting a spawn char. Cant have to many of those out and about I think a necro mage makes a good spawn/pvp char if ya know how to use them

I'm assuming since they mentioned "for the new expansion" they are wanting chars that can handle fighting in the abyss and tel mur, and in that case the sampire char would be my first choice. A mystic bard is a fun template to play and can handle most of abyss spawns but I think they are just a little bit slower than the sampire.

If your looking to solo the new monsters I would suggest a sampire and a mystic macer. The sammy can solo medussa and stygian, and the solo slasher and medussa.

If you want advice on PvP, check out a different forum, these kids have no idea what fel even is.............. I kid......... or do I?

To clear it up, I'm fine with pvp and every other aspect of this game. Just an old vet (3 year break), returning to the game after the new expansion. So yes my question was geared towards PvM.

I will still say I love my 4/6 chiv guy he can solo most things. Necro mage pwns all Abyss spawns I use.
