rules on selling stuff for IRL cash??? I got laid off from job and need some $$$ to pay bills. Was going to put list of stuff up for sales in next few days with a little line at bottome and top that reads "xx/m conversion ratio for RL cash". That a big no no now? Can somone help me please. Thanks.

Most of the other games have a rule against Real Money transactions, so it was easier to issue a blanket rule instead of trying to make an exception for UO - especially when many of the online sites that sell UO stuff also offer things illegally for other games. It would be bad form to allow such a site to link off a UO Stratics post, then have some other company's rep follow the link and find stuff for their game(s).

Sorry to hear about your bad fortune IRL, seems to be a common theme these days. While it is prohibited to do so on stratics, there are some websites that do offer auction of virtual items for real money services. Although as mentioned it is prohibited to mention their website address, maybe someone associated with one of these sites can help you out.
