What is honor taming?

What is honor taming?

In the Naja training thread Tyrath mentioned "honor taming" as his method. What is it?

I have gm music/peace and it's pretty much worthless on all high level animals. At best it breaks agro for half a second and at worst it does nothing. Devs seriously need to look at tweaking peacemaking IMO.

Looking for tips/tricks to tame aggressive animals besides lead taming.

If you achieve the highest level in the honor virtue, you can then honor yourself. This prevents aggressive creatures from aggro’ing you for a short time, which in turn makes taming these creatures fairly easy because they won’t attack you when you ‘anger the beast’ while attempting to tame.

As far as achieving an adequate level of honor, I always just spent an hour or so honoring and killing succubi in the fan dancer dojo in Tokuno. Then you have enough honor stored up for a good couple of tames.
