The bookmarks being broken is due to the SSL being added or taken away, it changes the web address from http to https which confuses the bookmarks and breaks them.
The security error is also probably linked to the SSL. Not sure what is causing the other things though.

My sincere apology for all the inconvenience of late. Today we had to remove SSL because it was causing search engine ranking issues and website performance issues that we were having difficulty overcoming. I hope things are back to normal now. We now have a redirect established to move your request from https to http to avoid errors.
i think they are adding / updating certificates. some of the pages are not loading but if i change https to http i'm able to get to the page.
That is the CSS not loading up....
Try relogging in using HTTP instead of HTTPS if you haven't already.

Ron Bron, the Stratics forum site is rapidly coming unglued, time to wipe the system and bring it back up fresh so it's stable and working, then try doing the mods to it you want to do. Have everyone making changes document everything they do, clearly and completely.
It will likely in a couple weeks once we sort through the issues we were having.
Pretty awesome for a free site to have this much dedication to helping its users. Not to mention the response time that @Ron Bron has is epic compared to some other companies we know...

Since I'm not seeing any errors related to that on the backend, can I ask what browser you are using?One more request (aka complaint?)
Can we address the message/reason that Stratics isn't responding because of a "long running script"? I've run into that issue a number of times today.

That might be part of the problem, Edge isn't a finished product as of yet, I stopped using it because I was getting that error on a number of websites. I've had not seen this issue with Firefox or Chrome. With Windows 10 and Edge being new, Xenforo may not be optimized for use with it as of yet.

Thanks for the response. I'm not considering making any more changes. At this point in time it's a toss-up as to who has the greater remaining life expectancy... me or UO. If I win and UO goes first, I really won't worry about gaming or computers anyway. UO has been my only online game for many a year. I wouldn't look for another. And in that case, Stratics won't figure into things either. *shrugs*

I don't know if it helps, but if you are on Win 10 with EDGE, its easy to to use Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is still included with windows 10. Simply go to the bottom left of your screen where it says "Search Windows and the Web" and type in Internet Explorer. You should be able to drag and drop the Icon onto your desktop.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will be trying this out, even though it appears I may have temporarily lost my more recent bookmarks in the process. If it helps Stratics significantly improve, I'll go with it. If not, I'll return to Edge since it is the one recommended by Microsoft.
