if you have 80 poison or higher you can do lvl5 with infect strike. At 100 you always upgrade to lvl5. But LvL5 is 2 chugs away from cure.

PvP its pretty useless, not 100% but up there. PK for unsuspecting targets its nasty. If they dont carry G-Cures you got em.

parasitic is level 5 poison. It can bump up to 6, and you can get heals from it if you are close enough. Darkglow is level 4, so though I do not know I have always suspected that it gets bumped up to 5, depending upon distance, without any added benefits.
Both can be healed, but in pvm it can be great for the added healing and damage, especially with a non-magic user. I do not pvp, but have used it during attacks to annoy, and have usually but not always been able to grab a heal before beating a hasty retreat.

Close,

parasitic is level 4, bumped to lvl 5 and healing when you are within 2 tiles.

Darkglow is level 3 and bumped to lvl4 doing increased damage when the target moves more than 2 tiles away (more damage the further away)

Of course, tactics and poisoning is required to boost the infections. Cure/Chiv will quickly remove it...however, you will be surprised how many times you will get one tick of parasitic hit on a dexxer...giving you a surprise(to them) increase in HP!

P.S i may be wrong on the lvls, think im right in saying that deadly poison is the only way to inflict lethal poison but...maybe im wrong

on the alchemy page, darkglow and greater have he same damage in the same time frame. The same goes for parasitic and deadly. In my opinion, if they do the same damage in the same number of seconds, they must be the same- unless the info is out-dated. Anyone?

haven't heard of it lol. I was out of action for a bit, and got behind on the changes. Went to the alchemy page to look at the poisons- and holy cow!!! Saw all kinds of new stuff. I have to dust off my alchemy stone and play with the new changes
