What is best pet for dread horn

Depends on what your doing. Tanking? Soloing? Pure damage?
Beetle i believe is considered the best as a tank though a greater may be better, soloing i have no clue, as for damage i have had success with pack animals there a bit of a pain to keep alive with the aoe poison.

Rune Beetle, their high poison resist negates the majority of the Dread Horns damage capacity, the only down side is the Dread Horn's poison resists does the same to it. But the Rune Beetle being a 3 slotter you can bring in a Mare or my preferred partner a Kitsune to throw out some damage.
