What if we had more skill points and stat points? What would be the best template you could make?

Here's my Ideal Paladin and Mage

Pali

120 Anatomy
120 Chivalry
120 Focus
120 Healing
120 Parrying
120 Resisting spells
120 Swordsmanship
120 Tactics

125/125/100

Mage

120 Evaluating Intelligence
120 Focus
120 Magery
120 Meditation
120 Mysticism
120 Necromancy
120 Resisting spells
120 Spellweaving

125/100/125

What template would you make? Let's say we have 1000 skill points and 350 stat points.

What would be the point of playing then?

Where would the challenge be?

I used to think it would be nice to go to 800 points. But I think that would greatly destroy what balance there is.

I also used to think it would be good to have 300 stat points... but I don't think that anymore.

It's a fun thing to think about. Let's say that the game has no skill cap. Everyone in the end becomes ALLx120 or 100. What does it change?

No more crafters? Well, someone likes to "roleplay" the crafter so no but for sure all those "mule" characters will go away (personally i have 1 main and 5 crafters/stablemasters... all secondary chars but the 2nd tamer i use to store pets).

And what about playstyle? I think that instead of having templates based on skills we will have playstyles based on spell/weapon sets... looks different, definitely not UO, but not unplayable.

Please, no... there would be too many "gods" running around, and the casual player would be so outclassed, I'm sure many would consider quitting rather than entering the "grind" to raise everything again.

tbh if we had more stat and skill points i'd make some pretty obnoxious overpowered characters

Ok, you all are no fun. It's a hypothetical question. Just be creative and make the most bad-ass template you could with 1000 pts.

Well that's sorta the point. Show what you would make.
*cracks knuckles*

120 Magery
120 Fencing
90 tactics
80 poisoning
120 resist
120 mysticism
120 focus
120 taming
110 lore

1000 skill points

Essentially a mystic nox dexer that heals with magery on top of a dread mare, and it even has resist. Eat that for overpowered !

I already have a suit that would utilize it to its max potential LOL

Mine wouldn't be "bad-ass", but for me it might be fun to have a Super-Chef. :)

100 Cooking
100 Alchemy
100 Taste ID
100 Inscription
100 Magery
100 Meditation
100 Eval
100 Resist
100 Hiding
100 Stealth

Total: 1000 skill points
