I want....and remember I see these things as merely a place to logout.....to build the ugliest house in UO history. So ugly it makes my neighbor leave.

What makes a house horrid?

I'm open to suggestions.

What I would do is to make use of every tile,wall section,and roof tile I had available to me,and place walls and such as randomly as I could.

100% percent agree with you there Farsight.. Nothing worse then seeing a house completely made out of Crystal Tiles.

Personally I dislike sandstone, ironic since I'm in a guild that is based outside of Trinsic but still. I find most of the tokuno flooring horrid except for two of them.

Also make sure you have a hodge podge of tiles that drastically range in color and the material they are supposed to be, I.E. snow next to wood next to grass next to marble tile and so on, Also make sure no tile is next to another of its kind because that might make it look like you actually wanted people not to vomit.

I think flutter repeated what I said but it's still bad advice which in this case is good advice. You can do worse DPudding we believe in you.

Yeah I have to agree with flutter here. Your house is too "uniform" and clean. If I was your neighbor,it wouldn't bother me after the 2nd-3rd time I saw it.

Dont forget spaces with no walls or no tiles, also use random wall pieces to unmatch the surrounding pieces. Use random fence and water tiles too, expecially the waterfall ones, just place randomly everywhere. And make sure all the deco items you put in it are super cheap, like the roast pig, some regs, use those god awful creepy portraits and the crystal/shadow rewards. You know the ones that everyone tryed to give away. It's a great start but it can be much uglier. Check Luna for some good design tips.

Some stairs on the roof that lead off the edge of the house and some random doors for the walls too. And maybe inside just for kicks make a hall with a number of doors and teleport tiles that go all over the place like the cartoons. Or a floor of all tele tiles.

I've seen worse. Try adding some of the Pagoda style roof tiles, like the red ones.
