What has changed?

I used to play as a thief on Siege Perilous (in the Siege Professionals guild, if anyone recognises it). I stopped playing late 2004/ early 2005. I was just wondering what differences are between playing a thief then and now. What's the best template for a thief now? and also, what's it like to be a thief on siege now?

Depends on your play style. What ever way you have fun with. Mage/tamer/dexxer. And yes, siege is still the best shard to play if you don't want to deal with insurance...la
