What happens to your kill points when you quit a faction?

That a good idea. I'm not up on my Factions, but suppose you could give points to an ally, and even arrange to get back up in Rank after the Event. That could make the transition a bit easier for the Factioneers that are really active but want to take part in the Event as well.
