What happened to pack bonus?

Not a single creature in the SA lands has it, and several others do not like the gamin and the Bake Kitsune.
I am terribly disappointed that battle chicken lizards don't have pack bonus since it's the only non tamer pet you have enough stable slots for to run a decent pack of them and still have stable space for your horse/beetle/packy/ferrett/squirl.
Also what is with the non stacking hay that is the only thing chicky lizzies eat?

Lowland boura, wolf spiders, raptor.

All SA creatures with pack bonus.

Pretty sure there are at least four creatures in Ter Mur that have pack instincts:
* leather wolf
* lowland boura
* wolf spider
* raptor

Someone with more experience, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: Farsight beat me to it! :)

They aren't very good pack animals either. Not compared to the Frenzied Ossys at any rate.

And the three boura have three different "specialties", if you will.

The ruddy boura can be tamed by any human (even with 0 taming) or any other race with 20 taming.

The lowland boura are stronger ruddy boura with pack instinct, but that makes them a perfect match for the high plains boura, which are a lot stronger, have better resists and a couple of special moves.

All in all, the boura are no match for a cu sidhe, but since anyone with 60 taming can use all three, and anyone with 0 taming can control the first two, they're good for tight templates or new characters/players in training.

The raptors are pretty much two-slot frenzied ostards, and the spiders are pretty much two slot scorpions. But two wolf spiders and a scorpion in one pack can be pretty vicious!

Edit: Oh, and I agree completely over the chicken lizards. They should have pack instinct!
