What happened on ATL it is being reported that there was definatly some revert?

Was this a mass server revert for all shards, no info on UO Herald
On the Atlantic shard, I logged in this morning and checked my stealing journal, to find that it took me back to around 1 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Was this a mass set back for everyone? It has been a long time since I have seen the server set back that much?

Things seem ok on GL, but definately not so on Atlantic. Venus, you can let that violin hit you where the good Lord split you. I spent 3.5 hours last night working taming. All of those gains are lost. Seems like a legitimate pancake to me......

Yeah, I am with you on the Atlantic shard, I estimated as far back as 1pm tuesday, but it could been earlier. Sorry for your loss of skill gain, that is always the worst loss to endure
ps, I bet you this has something to do with the New Quest for the housing give away. I personally dont like see'ing this type of revert, reminds me of the ancient days.

I know the feeling too. I sat for 2 hours working a skill, which was as much fun as watching paint dry. Also, the easter baskets are gone.

Well lots lost.
Some chap spent hours getting me stuff for lots of gold and his work is lost.
Ill look for him. But this is quite odd.
If it were an exploit all shards would be down.

I'm hearing that despite being reverted and losing their rewards and quests that people can no longer use the day 1 and 2 nodes. I haven't confirmed this myself.
EDIT:
Turns out this was not the case you can claim from all nodes.

This is the first mention I've been able to find of it anywhere. It caused my guild to lose two characters that were guilded last night from a member who just returned to the game after a long time away and doesnt have icq. Hopefully we can get ahold of him soon so he won't think that he was booted for some reason.

To me - it looks like it went all the way back to server-up yesterday. Things I did fairly early in the morning yesterday are now reverted.

Yeah I haven't heard of this happening in quite a while, and they were on it immediately when it happened. Either they know and they're scrambling to figure out what to say, or they're in for a nice surprise when they realize it.

Well, I lost one of the new cloaks do to the revert. Plus I lost the sale of said item. Plus, I lost the items that I purchased with said money from said sale of said cloak! That was a lot of effort and such down the tubes. Looks like it reverted somewhere between the time I did the quest to get the lantern and the time I actually got the cloak. This puts the revert to about one or two hours after serverup. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

I'm sorry for you Atlantians for sure. But wow, remember how it used to be with reverts a normal part of play. The red-letter day for me was playing the bone knight wall before work and being safe at home when I left. Logged in after work back at the bone wall. Got out, safe at home, had real dinner, logged in, and yes, back at the bone wall. That was truly The Nightmare on Ground Hog Day.
