What are we going to call the new black stone things?

Since they have no name at all, we have to come up with a name that people will be able to easily identify them. So far I have mostly seen people referring them to as rift pieces. But I don't think this accurately describes them. If I were to suggest a name, I would put forth Blackrock Pillar. It is black like blackrock and a pillar. Other names could be Rift Guardian Stand or Black Stone Pillar.

What do you think?

I was just ruminating earlier over what their name should be in regards to when a UOGuide entry gets made for them.

Right now, I like either "Rift Pillar" or "Blackrock Pillar".

Yeah I"d defintly go with Rift Pillar.....Rift Piece doesn't sound right, even though that' what it is how the heck do you get a PIECE of a rift?? That's just goofy. Rift Pillar is good.

If you are getting a name for UOGuide, think about :

Sandstone Column
Marble Pillar

Those are easily understandable by common folks and natural choice would be :

Blackrock Rift Pillar/Column but people gonna be "what's blackrock" and expect a tag on them so just call them :

Black Rift Block (BRB) for best explanation

Black (Color)
Rift (Source)
Block (base graphic same as veteran reward char statue blocks)

If you are getting a name for trading purposes, call them the sexiest name you can find.

It's also probably a secret message from Draconi as he moves to the new offices. He's telling us he's gonna brb after dissappearing for a week or so after Friday.
