(Question) What and why strange things?

While I was running around Fel Moonglow the other day looking for lost items to return for Honesty, I noticed a dock/man made peninsula jutting out from the south of the island near the teleporters. Is this area on all shards or just ours? Also, when I was on barrier island in Tram Trinsic I noticed what looked like a half orc fort built near the northern tip of the island. When I used to play years and years ago, that was not there I don't think.
