What 100% elemental weapons would you buy?

I like making them for myself so thought I might add them to my vendors.
Of course shadow hammers are easy enough to get but I suppose I could do wooden weapons too once I figure out the reforging.
What weapons would you buy and what kind of price would you pay for a standard 100% elemental weapon with no other mods except damage increase?

Yeah I would agree with Corwin here. 100% HML or HLL would be more desirable.

I try and have 100% HML and like 75% or more HLL then work around that with DI, adding skills or str and or dex. Mostly chaining AI so having a 100% elemental weapon becomes non essential. On a side note just checking to make sure I'm correct on this that having skill points such as swords on rings etc still counts towards the total for mana reduction costs. Un like the special moves requirements which have to be real skills with out the use of jewels.

Double Axes.... If that's the weapon I'm going to use it's going to be 100% elemental assuming the critters lowest resist isn't physical... Just because that's the best way to get the most damage out of each double strike. I also find that 2 chances at 50% HML vs a critters lowest resist (aka using the correct 100% elemental) produces more mana / dmg over time then having a Higher HML and NOT 100% elemental in the right resist.... of course such choices just come down to number crunching but yea...

Here is some theory.

In general case you prefer to reforge HML. But there are some exceptions.
You needn't high HML on a pure WW weapon (black staff). You can go without HML on a heavy slow weapon if you have enough SSI on your suit.
If you don't use necromancy you probably prefer to reforge HLL. But for a Sampire 100% elemental damage may be the best choice to reforge.

It may sound curiously but 100% elemental damage is more important on AI weapon. It's especially true if you haven't Resisting Spells (due to Mana Drain).
When you use DS weapon you probably keep Concentrate Weapon on. Even when you haven't enough mana for DS you still do good damage (just 2x less). Your opponent's resistances usually are not high (in this case you would prefer AI). So one hit without DS usually gives you enough mana for CW and/or DS.
When you use AI you usually do very little damage without mana (5x less or even 10x less). And this damage often is not enough to keep you alive and not enough to leach mana for AI with just one hit.

For example, getting keys for Dreadhorn is very easy with 100% elemental damage weapon and without one you have high chances to die. With a Sampire I prefer 100% fire damage Undead Slayer. Changelings copy VE but don't copy Undead Slayer mod from your weapon. With a Paladin I prefer 100% fire damage Arachnid Slayer.

I use 100% elemental double axes and bladed staffs. Of the damage types, the main ones I use are fire and cold.

I never knew that. That sounds like an immensely helpful tip. Thanks for mentioning it.

What's the most efficient way to try to make elemental weapons?

What does VE stand for in the post, "Changelings copy VE but don't copy Undead Slayer mod from your weapon"?

Thanks, Katrena
