I had been regretting finally giving up and throwing all my Ophidian junk away sometime around the middle of 2007. Looking at the list of turn-in rewards, I feel better. None of that stuff would have been worth the nuisance of carting that crap around with me through every house move or shard transfer for entire additional year. LOL.

Weren't we originally supposed to be able to "decode" those Ophidian orders eventually, the implication being that the turn-in would be part of some ongoing plot? Instead it's a year and a half later and we (well, you) are turning them in alongside every vaguely event-related item to have come along since then, to get... shirts with phrases on them. Joy.

1 old ration = 10 points
1 new scythe = 7500 points

I envy you. You managed to let go, despite being told they would be useful. Go back in time and tell me to do that as well, ya?

I'm still a bit miffed about the low value we will get for the rations.

I mean don't get me wrong, I don't think my grey-hued leg of lamb suddenly becomes a sought-after entree for kings, but I think it should be worth a hell of a lot more than a measly 10, especially as long as we've hoarded them.

As for the journals -- I hope its likewise a low value, because I'm not trading mine in. Despite how close I may be for several awards, I always keep at least 1-2 items for my posterity gallery.

I'm upset about it too. I hope they change their mind and raise how many points they will be worth.

Dislexia can be fun when reading!

I read that as 'my posterior gallery'!
