Weirdness...

A while back I tried to place a Haunted Mirror, but it wouldn't go up ( or so I thought ) and eventually the deed just disappeared. I thought about paging a GM, but thought... naw, it's easily replaced. Fast forward to today. I am messing around my house, and learning about the Enhanced Client. I turn on the CoT, and low and behold, there was the Haunted Mirror! It was exactly where I tried to place it, but it was invisible, or inside the wall or something. Now I know I walked by the same place many times with the CoT on, but not in the EC. So I thought about leaving it there, but decided to remove it. Another weird thing is that it never showed up when I hit All Names. Hrm... weirdness... At least I didn't lose it...rolleyes:

Well, it's not weird that it wouldn't show up if you hit All Names, as that's the wrong macro to hit. You probably meant object handles. In either 2D or SA client, this should show the Haunted Mirror.

When i got a gm to redeed my flaming head for me he found 2, one I thought i lost and it was still there, placed behind the other i put up.

I can see my neighbor's grow-op with CoT on. But we live out in the boonies so no one is really worried about patrols of any sort...

wow I never heard it called CoT I always just call it circle trans ;P

Heh, I've always called it CoT, Circle of Transparency, eh no matter. I got my deed back. That's all that matters to me... and I hope I helped other people... rolleyes:

Yeah, I wondered about this also after I found the Haunted Mirror...

And like I said in my original post I REALLY never worried about it much...
