Hi, I was wondering about stamina, weapon speed and SSI and how does it all come together in regards to delay between swings.

For instance, A composite bow with 30 SSI and a toon with 150 stam or 180 stam, how can I tell how much faster the 180 stam will be and also if it is worth it to use such a weapon as 30ssi or to try for a 40ssi weapon

Thanks for any replies in advance :)

the one on the stratics webpage isnt accurate
there was an updated webpage and an excel file that was updated with the formulas.

most of the slower weps, 30, 35, 40 ssi yeld the same speed at lower stam.
you would need 200+ stam to get a difference.

to compair

the crossbow its 2.25 with 40 ssi and 150 stam
the next bump is 2.00 with 40 ssi and 180 stam.
the next bump is 1.75 at 40 ssi and 210 stam.

same one with 35 ssi is unchanged at 150 stam with 2.25 and 180 with 2.00
but, needs 240 stam to get to 1.75.

so unless you have 240 stam, a crossbow isnt NEEDED to have 40 ssi, 35 will do.
also, stam isnt rounded, if you need 121 to get to 1.75, and your toon has 120, you are wasting stat points.. :(

i have the excel file, i didnt make it, someone on the boards here did.
its a small file i can email.

I was using this site that was created by people here. http://www.uohub.com/calcdmg.cfm

Only problem is, there seems to be a slight discrepancy as far as the rounding goes. This site rounds up, but Jeremy said they trunkate. I don't have the link where she said it.

But this calculator is still great.

edit: here's the link that talks about "trunkating" the numbers, therefore throwing things off a bit

I mean, hey, the trunkating works out better for us. It'll be a faster swing!
