What weapon should I craft for Fleshrenderer? Seems like anything with bleed is the way to go? Is there a reason why I can just use my fire double axe?

No reason at all. I was using a two hander for more damage on the double strikes.

The reason you've [probably] been seeing people using Bleed weapons is in conjunction with Blood Drinker, so they can essentially heal off the ticks while unable to leech.

I'd go with your double axe. AI doesn't work on most doom bosses.
