Weapon Durability

Is it me or does it seem like weapon durability is dropping much faster with the new patch?

I haven't noticed a difference, maybe your using weapons with Antique or Ephemeral on them, whichever properties drop durability fast.

I'm actually using the plain old regular clubs you get off ogres. The durability is dropping so much faster than it used to.

I agree with sablestorm. I watch the durability of my weapons closely and even when I fight simple ambusher spawn that comes with the goods escort quest,my armor and weapons take a huge pounding when it's a long trip. Fighting one brigand caused my broadsword to drop by four durability points. That is a bit much against a brigand with nothing but clothing on.

I noticed this also. My warhammer didn't last 2 hours before needing repairs yesterday. However I used it all weekend long and it didn't need repairs. They changed something.

I noticed this yesterday as well while using an imbued blackstaff against unseasonable (no corrosive attacks). It dropped from 252 dura to 35 annoyingly fast. Something is up.

Use a weapon with spell channel on it matey.

With regards to durability on stuff with the new loot changes I would like to know (ideally from a dev @Kyronix @Bleak @Misk) if the new "brittle" items wear down faster than imbued items?

I see a lot of people saying brittle = imbued because it spawns with 255 durability and cannot be powered like imbued items.

Is this the case? or does the brittle stuff suffer from slightly faster durability loss because its er.. brittle?!

i used a brittle 255/255 and a newly imbued crafted part. same dur .. hours later they were the exact same dur... 190/255..

i believe they loose dur at the same rate but that was a small test. for sure. lol
