We thee Elves "demand fair and equal treatment to a portal on a teleportation crystal to Our city of Heartwood"

We thee Elves "can't believe you Huuuumans have only discovered ONE of Our many cities"

We thee Elves "enjoy Christmas but it never snows in Our city, nor do We ever get a Christmas tree" (ability to steal or make Christmas trees/gifts during season, or have a Elven turn in for them)

We thee Elves "are more nimble then Huuumans yet never get bonus's to begging, setting/removing traps, hiding or forensics" (we need a 20% in these areas such that Huuumans are so clumbsy to even walk upright off a path that isn't paved.

We thee Elves "have so much magic within Us that thee Huuuumans have only discovered a mere token of Our power" (yet Our race holds so much more yet undiscovered or understood!)

The funny/tragic thing about Heartwood is that they added a complete system to this game for dispensing random kill quests with semi-randomized rewards, and then just left it to die because they forgot to make the rewards anything but garbage.

It's the story of this game's life for the last 10+ years regardless of the dev team in charge.

Step One: Add potentially interesting new content.

Step Two: Everyone says the rewards are pitiful garbage that will see the content quickly abandoned? Ignore them! Surely SOMEONE will want their random Heartwood garbage, their 10k gold for defeating a pirate ship, their Epiphany Armor, their ephemeral artifacts, whatever.

Step Three: Content lies dead, developers can't be bothered to do anything about it because they've already come up with some other new system and skipped back to step one.

Seriously, a whole random quest system and it's just laid there dead dispensing satchels of trash for over a decade.

I always did like that the elves become the new crafters in the game.. dispensing new crafting scrolls and color to the game.. however they haven't kept this up. Like a dark elf extension would be nice.. a dungeon where they ride venomous spiders and cast from a new alchemy level (potion based vs. scroll based) spell system. Keep the wide variety of colors and open up a new level of wooden tiles for castles/keeps as well as add a bank & moongate to Heartland. Even if they made a simple dungeon or a skill gain elven dungeon.. that would be nice for new players. We didn't even get a fishing boat with that expansion, the elves must be the ones below deck rowing.. heh.

We thee Elves, (She did ask).

Something for them to think of for sure. There are huge Yew trees all over, who to say there no city in the clouds on each and every one?

We thee Elves

I like the idea of bonus's to begging, setting/removing traps, hiding or forensics.

We Thee Elves: do not want to burden the Dev team with useless crap, taking them away from fixing the bugs that are currently damaging our beloved game.

The Elves were released with Mondains Legacy's. Shortly, after that it seems the Development Team forgot about the Elves. Who even rules the Elves.

Brittiana has King Blackthorn.
Tokuno has Empress (did they give her a name)
Gargoyle have a Queen.

The poor Elven Ambassador has been standing outside the teleporer for over ten years.

To be honest back when Draconi was the Producer I gave him a suggestion for Dark Elves. I told him now that there is basically an underdark we need that Dark Elven Dungeon...

I said it ought to be back in the area past the goblins, past the puzzle floor... they should have a dungeon where it is another Mini Champ with keys to gather for getting to the Valsharess... (Queen). It would start with just various spiders, next phase would be dark elven males who are much like the Ninja in Tokuno.... they stealth.... pop out of shadows and hit you... (need to add a dual pair of small crossbows with double shot and bleed or poison)... then the next level would add female mages... who do a lot of poison and also stealth and hide often. (fix the whip for them so it can be used as a maybe macing weapon give it to them). Then the "boss" would be a Drider. (new graphic for a large spider with dark elven torso steal a bit from the territhans) Which would be dual wielding swords...

The Valsharess(Queen) of course would be the boss you go to (Keys being those small egg-sacs)... She would be a very nasty mage using the whip, stealth, far more powerful than the female mages from before... she would have two female mages with her that she respawns often and if you don't kill them fast enough she'll turn them into Driders.

But more important than adding this mini champ area is that somewhere in that area there is a room... kinda hidden requires a password to enter... where a lone bald male dark elf wearing a feathered hat will offer you a deal... He'll want some things. He'll take them and sometimes he'll reward you with something nice... sometimes he'll give you something lame... sometimes he'll just hand you a lucky coin... and occasionally .... He'll just kill you. If you are a dark elf... ie your character has one of the 2 or 3 shades of coal skin and white hair and have declared yourself a follower of Lloth... You will have a higher chance of getting something good from him and a lesser chance of getting killed by him...

Also this should come with a dark elven city somewhere in Illsh... likely deep in a dungeon like rock dungeon. Where you can go and trade with them if you beat the boss queen and get a reward of a cloak that allows you to "blend in" with them... Otherwise you can't get into the city. Unless of course you are a dark elf and claim loyalty to them by being a follower of Lloth. They can teach you things and will offer recipes to loyal crafters.

New things would include a robe that allows you to stealth for 10 steps every 2 hours or be hidden for 1min again you can only use it once every 2 hours... (would have spiders on it and webs)... new dual wield repeatting crossbows that do double the damage of a current repeater with the double shot and poison or bleed on it)... the whip... cat o' nine tails... macing weapon... (snake headed whip with several heads)... which does poison and maybe a paralyzing blow type thing since getting bit by a bunch of snake heads would be agonizing and likely make you need to catch your breath... and a pair of dual wield swords.... curved. Double strike and bleed or something on them.

They should also have a new potion you can learn to make that when thrown causes a circle of darkness to appear... if you are in it you can't see at all.

I believe that was the jist of my suggestion at the time. Was a long time ago.
