we cant place ladders at entrances anymore?

just wondering if something changed?

i went to place a ladder at the entrance of my keep and i couldnt.
which is strange, cause i have it on both my castles and my other keep.

has their been a change about placing them there or am i missing something?

it wont even let me place a goza mat out there.

hell.... i cant even place a welcome mat out there!!!!

Items locked down under house signs will be released and moved to the moving crates for classic and customizable houses.

That was never trivial to place a ladder on the stairs and I hope it still works as it did.

To place a ladder on the stairs:
Put your character on the later ladder position.
Use a goza mat deed 1x1 and target your character.
Lift the goza mat by 3 (?) steps up.
Place the ladder on the goza mat.

Hint: Since you enter the ladder from the side in this case (maybe due to its slightly lifted position) place a blocking item (mailbox, lamppost) on the other side to avoid falling down instead of climbing up.

When placing a ladder it now requires a two tile gap in line with the ladder on the floor above

from the Pub 80 Notes.
im guessing this killed it.

Seems you are right, I just tried on a castle without front door ladder to place one.
Not only, that it did not work, I even cant place the vet reward cannon on the same place above the stairs in the upper floor again, which I redeeded to get access for the ladder just in case.

Dear developers!
These are situations, in which I would like to ask you, do you put in such fixes to bother players? The proper way would have been a way to make it possible to place interior on stairs without using "tricks".
Or add a circle of one tile (just like the castle courtyard) around each classic house, which allows to lock down items there. Or exclude certain items from the adjacent impassable tile rule.

They fixed something that doesn't hurt anyone and it's not a bug it's just something people with castles or keeps used to make their house pretty..it's too bad I feel for keep and castles owners they give u courtyards and take away step deco

Edited to add one more thing: Maybe we're going to be getting mailboxes on every house that can be accessed (if we set the security correctly) by anyone who is passing by? If so, it would make sense to me to have those located under the house sign. Or maybe the new vendor search will let you specify that you want your newly purchased item to be delivered to you via "parcel post" and land in your mailbox?

Now that would be really cool, especially for shopping sprees

I took my ladder down to decorate steps for Christmas now I cannot put ladder back? Ugh! Why??? This is a Keep where the yard was forgotten.

Guess no devs own Keeps, yea I'm a little mad about this. Okay I am a lot mad.

Too many bad things in too short of a time.

I will now say something positive. The Em Gift trees are very cute (Charlie Brown type) I would however like to actually get one. Yep I am still mad.
