i did 2 lady m's last nite.

at the first one there were 5 of us 3 with pets and two mage's that healed and took care of the spawn. at half life, where m's life bar is between the l and the i a single sayter spawned which the mages took care of. as she was redlined a sayter, dryad and reaper spawned. this seemed normal.

the next one there were three of us. all tamer/mages with two cu's and a beetle/mare. at half life she spawned 3 sayters!!! which killed two of us and all the pets. the 1 remaining guy invised and after some jockeying to get the satyers up on higher ground we regrouped and continued. we lured down each of the sayters and got back on her. than at 3000 hp of life she started massively healing and got her life back to 3400 hp. no more spawn though. the battle continued and we got her down to 400 hp where she spawned a reaper, 2 dryads a sayter and two harpies. killed all of us accept 1 and after regrouping she had gained back to 4000 hp's. oh and her mana pool never fell below 1200.
sorry to say it was late and we left without finishing her off. guess she wins sometimes :/

i have done a lot of these and never seen anything like that.

most times we have a necro/sw/mage with us that keeps her strangled but we did not earlier in the evening either and that went normal.

was wondering if she was buffed some figuring that everyone will bring the super dragons up there after they start bonding this weekend. any ideas?

maybe we need more than 3 people now?

maybe a gm was adding some spawn?

maybe bugged?

maybe our incompetence?

i dont know...

any ideas?

she heals herself with spirit speak, sounds like you guys just had some bad luck

Honestly no need to really take more than 3 imo. I have taken the Lady with just 2 people and seen screen shots of a solo Mel.

Anytime she spawns any critters if her life does not continue to drop there is a chance her life regen will take her above the point of the spawn. Then when you take her life below that point again she will spawn another. I have seen this happen multiple times. It is a pain at times but can be avoided by staying on Mel. Have one person in the crew drag the Satyr to the top and out of range while the other 2 keep killing her for a little while to ensure she will not regen higher than where she pops the critter. Or just keep her Mortally Wounded all the time.

Its rare but sometimes she spawns more than the basic creatures. Just the other day we were fighting her and 2 satyrs spawned at half life, when usually its 1. Its not a big deal. If you do mel regularly you should have contingency plans.

Mages always cast evs behind party near half life to distract the satyrs. We have 1 person (usually archer, etc) to help out. If the satyr gets the upper hand (peaced, etc) then the mage/tamers drop spells on it while pets stay on Mel. Usually works fine.

Once in a while when the spawned satyr has people peaced, many people tend to stay on mel, when the satyr is the greater threat because you can cast with mel, you can attack mel. When peaced, you can't do squat. In my opinion, the satyr is the greater threat because if you are peaced, you aren't doing squat but running. If you are a mage, you are dying. I get so fustrated when im trying to take out the spawned satyr, am peaced, and im yelling for everyone to take out the satyr yet they keep on mel. Then I tell them "You aren't going to be fighting squat if you don't take down the satyr!"
