Hi,

A friend and I were thinking of coming back to uo, but we can't find out where our accounts are.

we haven't played since samauri, so dont have a mythic or ea account. I've seen some posts saying to append _uo to your old account name, but that doesn't seem to work.

Anyone have any suggestions, or are we going to have to start from scratch?

Cheers

First step: click on the link in the client to got to account management.

There, you'll first be asked to create a EA Master account, before creating your Mythic account. Click on the link, create it with the same e-mail your account uses, then once the account is confirmed created, go back to the Mythic account page.

Create it, linked to the EA master account. It doesn't HAVE to be the same as your UO account name, but it it isn't then you got to go in and do the accountname_uo linking (and even maybe if it is - I started out with a different name, from the start).

From there, I had no problems. OTOH, some people had issues every step of the way. I almost think there might be browser and firewall issues contributing to it, from the randomness of the problems (as practically no two households have identical settings in both).
